Just spent some time at the Warm Mineral Springs in North Port, Florida. It was an absolutely charming experience! If I lived down there (and I hope to soon) I plan on going as often as I can. After reading about the place on their website it was truly interesting to actually be in it. It's actually, though, a participatory experience. Walking in a paying for the experience and then walking through the facility out towards the springs. You stand there taking it all in and what hits you is the "minerally" smell. Some won't like it at all. You get used to it. We walked around the perimeter of the cenote and claimed some chairs. We got in and floated around the perimeter of the waters a couple of times chatting with others who floating along with us. Went beyond the holders into the deep part and swam around. Felt good. Some Russian ladies floated by singing Russian songs! It was great! We were there about 2 hours and I didn't feel any pain (I have really bad osteoarthritis everywhere) for the entire rest of the day. I'm a believer!
